About this exercise
You're splitting Cobalt Climbing Gym's spring membership campaign budget across 4 channels. Write exactly 4 numbered lines in the shape Channel: $X (Y% of $Z), using the corrected total budget and the agreed percentages. Show the math in each line, and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Copying the old amounts. The January dollar amounts are already worked out, so the AI reuses them. Try: Add: "Total is $10,000 now. Recalculate every line."
- Not showing the math. The AI gives dollar amounts without the percentage of the total. Try: Show it: "Meta ads: $4,000 (40% of $10,000)."
- Adding a channel. The AI adds TikTok because it's popular. Try: Add: "Only the 4 agreed channels."
- Getting a table. The AI builds a markdown table with bold totals. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
