Compare competitor prices for a 12-person team, showing the math
Practice: Asking for a format you can use. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
A prospect with 12 users asked how Brightdesk's price compares to two rivals. Write exactly 3 numbered lines, one per product, each showing the monthly math for 12 users (like "$8 x 12 = $96/month"), using the current prices in your notes. Then one last line saying which is cheapest, with no pitch. Plain text, nothing else.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not asking for the math. The AI states totals without the steps, so errors hide. Try: Add: "Show the math on each line, like $8 x 12 = $96/month."
- Using stale or partial prices. The June battle card price and the hidden platform fee are easy to miss. Try: Add: "Supportsy is $14 now. Include Ticketly's $40 platform fee."
- Spinning the answer. The AI makes Brightdesk sound cheapest or adds a pitch about setup time. Try: Add: "Last line: which is cheapest, plainly. No pitch."
- Getting a table. The AI builds a markdown table with bold headers. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 numbered lines, plain text."
