Write an influencer brief's do and don't lines
Practice: Asking for a format you can use. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're writing the brief for creators posting about Lumen Skin's new SPF moisturizer. Write exactly 6 numbered lines, the first 3 starting with "Do:" and the last 3 with "Don't:", each under 16 words, based on legal's notes and the corrected disclosure tag. Plain text, only the list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old tag. #LumenPartner comes first in the notes. Try: Add: "Disclosure is #ad at the start of the caption."
- Missing the banned claims. The AI writes generic don'ts like "don't be negative". Try: Add: "Don't lines cover legal's banned claims."
- No shape. The AI writes two bold sections with long bullets. Try: Show it: "3 lines starting Do:, then 3 starting Don't:."
- Wrong count. The AI writes 5 do's and 8 don'ts. Try: Add: "Exactly 6 numbered lines."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the do/don't shape
- Uses the updated tag
- Covers banned claims
- Says how many
- Asks for only the list
