Break your own conditioning example into its four parts
Practice: Asking for a format you can use. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
In Psychology class you came up with your own example of classical conditioning but can't label its parts. Get exactly 4 lines starting 'UCS:', 'UCR:', 'CS:' and 'CR:' in that order, each naming that part of your example in under 12 words, plain text. Use your phone example, not Pavlov's dogs, and follow Ms. Grant's correction about the CS.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking for an explanation. The AI explains the theory with Pavlov's dogs, which you already have in your notes. Try: Point it to your example: "Label the four parts of MY phone example."
- Not giving the labels. Without the labels, the AI writes a paragraph and you still can't tell which part is which. Try: Show the shape: "4 lines starting UCS:, UCR:, CS:, CR:."
- Missing the teacher's hint. The AI might copy your wrong CS from the notes. Try: Add: "The CS is the thing that started neutral, per Ms. Grant."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Cap each line: "each under 10 words."
- Forgetting where it will be read. AI formats for a screen, with bold and headings that show up as stray symbols in your homework. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
