Compare two revolutions feature by feature
Practice: Asking for a format you can use. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your AP World test asks you to compare revolutions. Get exactly 3 numbered lines covering who led, main goal and outcome, each in the form 'Feature: American | Haitian', each under 25 words, plain text. Use only your class notes, including Mr. Osei's correction about the Haitian Revolution's outcome.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Asking to compare. The AI writes an essay, which is hard to review quickly. Try: Show the shape: "Feature: American | Haitian".
- Not saying how many lines. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more lines than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 3 numbered lines."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Cap each side: "each side under 10 words."
- Missing the correction. Your wrong note about the outcome is still in the material. Try: Add: "Haiti became independent in 1804, per Mr. Osei."
- Letting in other revolutions. The AI may add the French Revolution for context. Try: Add: "Only these two, only from my notes."
What a strong prompt includes

- Shows the line shape
- Uses the correction

- Says to use only the material
