Make a Spanish verb quiz from your vocab list
Practice: Asking for a format you can use. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your Spanish 2 quiz on preterite vs. imperfect is tomorrow. You want exactly 6 numbered fill-in-the-blank sentences in Spanish, each with the verb's infinitive in parentheses, and all the answers together at the end under 'Answers', in plain text. Use only verbs from Señora Ruiz's list (not ser or ir, which aren't on this quiz), and include both preterite and imperfect answers.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not saying how many questions. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more questions than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 6 numbered questions."
- Not limiting the verbs. The AI grabs common verbs like ser and ir, which aren't on your quiz. Try: Say: "Use only verbs from the quiz list. No ser or ir."
- Not asking for a mix. The AI may test mostly one tense, so you never practice choosing. Try: Add: "At least 2 preterite and 2 imperfect answers."
- Answers under each question. Seeing the answer right away means you never test yourself. Try: Add: "Put all answers at the end under 'Answers'."
- Forgetting where it will be read. AI formats for a screen, with bold and headings that show up as stray symbols on a printed page. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
What a strong prompt includes
