Flag churn risk across accounts as a CSV for the tracker
- For Customer success managers
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Your CS ops lead wants this week's churn flags as CSV to paste into the risk tracker. Apply these rules to each of the 5 accounts: High if usage fell more than 30% or the champion has left the company; Medium if usage fell 10-30% or there is an open escalation; otherwise Low. Return one code block with the header account, risk, reason and one row per account, each reason under 10 words, and no more than 20 words outside the code block.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not giving the rules. The AI makes up its own risk logic and weighs things you don't use. Try: Paste the rules: "High if usage fell over 30% or champion left; Medium if 10-30% or open escalation; else Low."
- Believing the rumor. The AI flags Dunmore High from the Slack rumor and misses the correction. Try: Add: "Use the latest confirmed facts; a champion on leave has not left."
- Not asking for CSV. The AI writes a table or bullet list that won't paste into the tracker. Try: Say: "One code block, CSV with header account, risk, reason."
- Explaining around the block. The AI adds a summary and recommendations around the data. Try: Add: "No more than one short line outside the code block."
What a strong prompt includes
