Build a timed kickoff agenda that fits the call
- For Customer success managers
- You practice Giving the right context
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
You're running the kickoff call with Orrin Freight on Tuesday from 2:00 to 2:45 pm. Write the agenda as exactly 6 numbered items, each starting with its time block (like "1. 2:00-2:05"), so the blocks run back to back and end at 2:45. Plain text, because you'll paste it into the calendar invite.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Leaving out the time slot. The AI doesn't know when the call is or how long, so it guesses a length or skips times. Try: Give it: "The call is 2:00-2:45 pm. Start each item with its time block."
- Ignoring who leaves early. The AI orders topics as listed and puts the sponsor's topics after he has left. Try: Say: "Dale leaves at 2:15, so cover his goals and the metrics first."
- Not fixing the count. The AI writes as many items as it likes, often with sub-bullets. Try: Ask for "exactly 6 numbered items, no sub-bullets."
- Forgetting where it goes. AI adds bold and headings, which show up as symbols in a calendar invite. Try: Say: "Plain text for a calendar invite, no bold or headings."
What a strong prompt includes
