Write a three-question customer FAQ after a sync bug

About this exercise
Write a customer FAQ with exactly 3 questions: What happened? Am I affected? What should I do? Format each as "Q:" then "A:" on the next line, each answer under 28 words. Use only confirmed facts, and plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Adding the engineer's guess. The unconfirmed duplicate comment tempts the AI to warn about it. Try: Say: "Use only confirmed facts. Leave out guesses."
- Missing the action and deadline. The AI explains the bug but gives no deadline. Try: Ask: "What should I do: include the refresh step and Nov 11."
- Wrong layout. The AI adds a headline and bullet points. Try: Say: "Q: then A: on the next line, three pairs."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
- Asks for plain text
- Sets a length limit
- Shows Q and A layout
- Limits to confirmed facts
