Announce a seasonal offer with its real terms and no fake scarcity
- For Small business owners
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write a promotional email about the year-end offer. Plain text under 100 words, subject line first. State the discount, the exact eligibility rules and the real deadline from the notes, and give the price math for the example plan. Do not claim limited quantities, countdowns or that it's a "last chance", and don't imply existing customers qualify. Line 1 must be exactly "Subject: Year-end offer for new customers" and the email signs off "Kyle".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Fake scarcity. The AI says 'only 50 spots left'. Try: Add: "No limited quantities, countdowns or last chance."
- Missing eligibility. The AI doesn't say new customers only. Try: Add: "State the eligibility rules exactly."
- Math not shown. The AI says 'save $540'. Try: Add: "Show 3,600 x 85% = $3,060."
- Long promo. The AI writes a long, bold email. Try: Add: "Plain text under 100 words, subject first."
