Tag a batch of tickets into your fixed taxonomy as CSV
- For Customer support teams
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Tag these 7 tickets for import into your helpdesk. Use only these tags: billing, bug, how-to, feature-request, account-access. Tag by the customer's real problem, not by the words they use. Priority is P1 only if the customer can't log in or was charged the wrong amount, otherwise P3. Output one fenced code block of CSV with the header ticket_id,tag,priority and one row per ticket, with at most 15 words outside the block.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Letting the AI invent tags. The AI makes up labels like "login issue" or "complaint" that your helpdesk rejects. Try: List them: "Use only: billing, bug, how-to, feature-request, account-access."
- Tagging by keywords. The AI sees "billing" or "annoying" and tags the word, not the problem. Try: Add: "Tag by the real problem, not the words used."
- No priority rule. Without your rule, the AI guesses urgency from tone. Try: Give it: "P1 only if they can't log in or were charged wrongly; else P3."
- Getting a table instead of CSV. AI shows tagged tickets as a markdown table, which won't import. Try: Say: "One fenced code block of CSV, header ticket_id,tag,priority, nothing else."
