About this exercise

Build the agenda for a 2-hour board meeting starting at 09:00 in plain text. One line per item in the form HH:MM-HH:MM Item - presenter. Items must be consecutive with no gaps, fit exactly 09:00-11:00, follow the order in the notes, and end with the line: Executive session (directors only). Use the longest requested times that fit; if they do not fit, say which item you shortened on a last line starting "Shortened:".

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Gaps or overruns. The AI ends at 11:10. Try: Say: "Consecutive lines, exactly 09:00 to 11:00."
  • Shortening protected items. The AI trims the credit line or exec session. Try: Say: "Never shorten the decision or executive session."
  • Not saying what was cut. The AI quietly trims times. Try: Say: "Add a Shortened: line."
  • Markdown. The AI makes a table. Try: Say: "Plain text lines."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 15 words."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
