About this exercise

Summarize the eight directors' survey comments for the chair. Plain text, under 110 words. First line exactly: Board survey themes. Then exactly 3 dash lines, each a theme with a count out of 8 and no names. Then one line starting "Suggested change:" for the top theme. Use the recount, do not quote anyone, and do not include comments about individual directors or executives.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Old count. The AI says 5 of 8. Try: Say: "Use the recount: 6 of 8."
  • Quoting or naming. The AI quotes D6 or mentions the CFO. Try: Say: "No quotes or comments about individuals."
  • Wrong top theme. The AI suggests a change for strategy time. Try: Say: "Suggested change addresses the top theme."
  • Wrong first line. The AI adds an intro. Try: Say: "First line exactly: Board survey themes."
  • Markdown. The AI bolds themes. Try: Say: "Plain text."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 20 words."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
