About this exercise
Write an executive summary for CEO Marcus Webb in plain text, under 120 words. Line 1: Recommendation: and one sentence. Then exactly 3 dash lines with the evidence, each with one number. Then one line starting "Risk if we wait:" and a final line starting "Decision by:" with the date. Use the corrected numbers only and no consulting jargon such as synergies, leverage or optimize.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old savings. The AI says $2.4M. Try: Say: "Savings are $1.9M (corrected)."
- Jargon. The AI uses 'optimize synergies'. Try: Say: "No consulting jargon."
- Missing the deadline. The AI ends without a date. Try: Say: "End with Decision by: and the date."
- Markdown. The AI bolds the recommendation. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 22 words."
