About this exercise
Fill this monthly investor update template in plain text, one field per line: Headline, Revenue, Cash, Biggest win, Biggest problem, Ask. Use only the notes and the correct figures. Each field is under 20 words. Ask must be one specific request, and nothing else may follow it.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the pipeline number. The AI uses $230,000. Try: Say: "Revenue is the closed number, $212,000."
- Leaking confidential talks. The AI mentions the possible acquisition. Try: Say: "Leave out the acquisition talks."
- Wrong fields. The AI adds a morale line or renames fields. Try: Say: "Use the six labels only, in order."
- Markdown. The AI bolds the labels. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each field: "each field under 20 words."
