About this exercise
Build a checklist of exactly 6 items to complete before Thursday's steering committee, in plain text. Each line starts with [ ] and gives the item, the owner and the day (Mon to Wed). Order by day, Monday first. Use only the notes and the final owners, and include no more than one item per person.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Old owner. The AI keeps Josh. Try: Say: "Anita took the risk register."
- Wrong order. The AI lists by importance. Try: Say: "Order by day, Monday first."
- Including done or skipped items. The AI adds room booking. Try: Say: "Leave out finished and skipped items."
- Markdown. The AI uses bullets. Try: Say: "Plain text; lines start with [ ]."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 14 words."
