About this exercise
The pricing committee wants the MRR impact of the approved price changes as data they can paste into a sheet. Put a CSV in one code block with the header plan,customers_after,new_price,new_mrr,mrr_change, one row per plan and a TOTAL row, numbers with no $ signs or commas. Apply expected churn and only the changes the committee approved. Outside the block, write at most one sentence.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the proposal, not the decision. The AI applies all three increases from the deck, including the rejected Team price. Try: Add: "Apply only approved changes. Team stays at $120."
- Forgetting churn. The AI multiplies current customers by the new price and overstates the gain. Try: Say: "Reduce customers by the expected churn first: Starter 10%, Pro 5%."
- Spreadsheet-hostile numbers. The AI writes $45,000, which breaks a CSV paste. Try: Say: "Numbers only, no $ or commas."
- Wrapping data in prose. The AI explains the method in paragraphs around the table. Try: Say: "One code block, then at most one sentence."
