About this exercise

You got 5 passé composé answers wrong on your French quiz and want to see your pattern. Get exactly 5 numbered lines, one per mistake in quiz order, each formatted "1. wrong -> right: Label" using exactly one of these labels: Wrong helper verb, Missing agreement, Wrong past participle. Then a last line starting "Pattern:" naming your most common label. Under 90 words, plain text.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Getting a grammar lesson. Ask 'why' and the AI explains each answer at length, so the pattern gets lost. Try: Ask for labels: "Label each mistake with one of: Wrong helper verb, Missing agreement, Wrong past participle."
  • Not saying how to label double mistakes. Q2 and Q5 have two problems, and the AI may pick agreement, which hides your real pattern. Try: Add: "When there are two problems, label by the helper verb."
  • No summary line. The AI lists the mistakes but doesn't tell you what to study. Try: Add: "Last line: Pattern: my most common label."
  • No line shape. The AI formats each mistake as its own section with headings. Try: Show it: "1. Elle a allé -> Elle est allée: Wrong helper verb"
  • Forgetting where it's going. AI adds bold and headings that show up as stray symbols in your notebook. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
