Get an A2 Spanish restaurant dialogue that matches your unit
- For High school students
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
You're practicing for a Spanish 2 role-play at a restaurant. Get exactly 8 numbered dialogue lines that alternate "Mesero:" and "Lucía:", present tense only, using words from your unit list, then a vocabulary list of exactly 5 bullets formatted "- word = English". Under 140 words in total. Your teacher wants Mexican Spanish, so the waiter is never a "camarero".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not giving your level. The AI writes natural restaurant Spanish with past and future tenses you haven't learned. Try: Add: "A2 level, present tense only, plus 'quisiera'."
- Getting Spain Spanish. The AI often defaults to 'camarero', and your teacher wants Mexican Spanish. Try: Add: "Mexican Spanish. The waiter is 'Mesero', never 'camarero'."
- Not fixing the shape. The AI writes a long scene with stage directions and a big glossary table. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 8 numbered lines, then exactly 5 bullets: - word = English."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Cap each part: "each dialogue line under 10 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Gives your level
- Names the dialect
- Says how many lines
- Shows the vocab format
- Sets a length limit
