About this exercise
Cut the seven draft objectives to three using this rule: keep an objective only if it (a) ties to a company priority listed in the notes and (b) has an owner and a measurable result. Output a markdown table with columns Objective, Keep or Cut, Reason (under 14 words), all seven rows. Then one single final line like Kept: A, B, C using the letters of the three kept objectives. If more than three qualify, keep the three with the earliest due dates.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Old dates. The AI uses Aug 31 for the app. Try: Say: "Use the updated dates."
- Ignoring the rule. The AI keeps the culture objective. Try: Say: "Keep only objectives with an owner, a measure and a priority link."
- Wrong table. The AI changes columns. Try: Say: "Columns: Objective, Keep or Cut, Reason."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each reason: "under 10 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
