About this exercise

Your team's draft OKR has four key results that are really activities. Rewrite each as a measurable result and show them in a markdown table with exactly these three columns: Original, Measurable version, How we'll measure. Use only the baseline numbers in the notes and never invent a target without saying it is a proposal. Every Measurable version starts with Raise, Reduce or Increase, and the whole table is under 150 words. Output only the table.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Wrong column names. The AI picks its own headings such as 'Current' and 'Target'. Try: Say: "Columns exactly: Original, Measurable version, How we'll measure."
  • Inventing targets. The AI makes up goals like 'reach 60%' without labeling them. Try: Say: "Use the baselines given. Label any target 'proposed'."
  • Keeping a finished launch. The AI rewrites KR 4 as a launch even though the notes say it already happened. Try: Say: "The help center is already launched, so replace KR 4 with a use or quality measure."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each cell: "each cell under 15 words."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
  • Adding bold and notes. The AI wraps the table in bold headings, a list or notes. Try: Say: "Plain text only: just the table, no bold, no notes."
