- For Small business owners
- You practice Saying who it's for
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
You are raising service prices on Jan 6 and staff will face client questions. Write exactly 4 numbered Q&A lines for the front desk in the format "1. Client asks: ... Say: ...". Each Say part is under 28 words, plain text, honest and calm. Never promise a price freeze or discount that is not in the notes.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Promising a discount. The AI says a student discount is coming. Try: Say: "For the student discount say it's not decided."
- Wrong format. The AI writes a script paragraph. Try: Say: "Format: 1. Client asks: ... Say: ..."
- Missing facts. The AI gives generic answers. Try: Say: "Use the dates and rules from the notes."
- Markdown. The AI bolds 'Say'. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each Say: "each Say under 25 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
