About this exercise
Write exactly 5 numbered stay-interview questions for Imani, in plain text. Each starts with What, How or When, cannot be answered with yes or no, and refers to one specific thing from the notes (a project, tool or event). Do not ask whether she plans to leave, and do not mention salary or promotion. Each question is under 22 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Yes/no questions. The AI writes "Do you enjoy...". Try: Say: "Each starts with What, How or When."
- Generic questions. The AI asks about career goals in general. Try: Say: "Each refers to something specific from the notes."
- Raising the sensitive items. The AI asks about the recruiter or salary. Try: Say: "Don't ask about leaving, a recruiter, salary or promotion."
- Wrong count. The AI adds an intro and 8 questions. Try: Say: "Exactly 5 numbered questions."
- Markdown. The AI bolds key words. Try: Say: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the count
- Question openers
- Ties to the notes
- Bans topics
- Caps length
