About this exercise
Put the open tickets in the order the team should work them. Write exactly 5 numbered lines in the form: 1. Ticket ID - reason under 10 words. Rules: (1) outages affecting more than one customer first, (2) then tickets with a deadline today, (3) then oldest first. Use the latest status in the notes and output only the list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing the closed ticket. The AI includes T-405. Try: Say: "T-405 is closed; leave it out."
- Missing the update. The AI leaves T-401 as a normal ticket. Try: Say: "T-401 now affects two customers."
- Ordering by feel. The AI puts billing first. Try: Say: "Apply rules in order: outages, then deadline today, then oldest."
- Long reasons. The AI writes sentences. Try: Say: "Reason under 8 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 14 words."
- Wrong count. The AI lists six tickets. Try: Say: "Exactly 5 open tickets."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
