About this exercise
Sort these eight tasks into a markdown table with columns Task, Urgent (yes/no), Important (yes/no), Do. Do must be one of Now, Schedule, Delegate or Drop, following this rule: urgent and important = Now; important only = Schedule; urgent only = Delegate; neither = Drop. Use the deadlines in the notes as of today, Wednesday Nov 6. Urgent means due within 2 days. Output only the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Wrong columns. The AI invents columns like Priority. Try: Say: "Columns exactly: Task, Urgent, Important, Do."
- Ignoring the rule. The AI sorts by feeling. Try: Say: "Follow the rule: urgent = due within 2 days of Nov 6."
- Using the old importance. The AI marks the expense report unimportant. Try: Say: "Item 8 is now important."
- Mislabeling Schedule. The AI says Now for the Nov 20 presentation. Try: Say: "Not urgent + important = Schedule."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap it: "short task names under 6 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
