Write coming-soon teasers that keep the seller's details private

Practice: Setting limits and rules. About 5 minutes.

About this exercise

You're an agent teasing a listing that goes live next week. Write exactly 3 numbered teaser posts, each under 30 words, using only features the seller approved for teasers. Never give the address, street name or price (not set yet), and end each with "DM me for early details." Plain text, no hashtags.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Leaking private details. The AI includes the street or the trail name, which shares the street name. Try: Add: "Never the address or the word Pemberton. Oak Hollow is fine."
  • Guessing a price. The AI adds "in the $600s" to make the teaser concrete. Try: Add: "No price; it isn't set."
  • Teasing unapproved features. A pool is a big draw, so the AI mentions it. Try: Add: "Only approved features. No pool."
  • No set ending. Each teaser ends differently, often with hashtags. Try: Add: "End each with: DM me for early details. No hashtags."
  • Getting labels in bold. The AI bolds "Teaser 1" headers. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 numbered lines, plain text."

What a strong prompt includes

  • Protects the address
  • Rules out a price
  • Uses approved features
  • Sets the ending
  • Asks for only the list
