Brainstorm launch-site taglines without buzzwords
Practice: Setting limits and rules. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're the PM launching Pantrypal, an app that plans meals around what's already in your fridge, on a product launch site. Brainstorm exactly 4 numbered taglines, each under 9 words, each about using what you already have. No "AI", "revolutionary" or "game-changing", don't promise less food waste numbers (unproven), and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Leaning on buzzwords. "AI-powered" is the AI's first word for any app. Try: Add: "No AI, revolutionary or game-changing."
- Using the unproven stat. "Cut food waste 50%" sounds great and is in the notes. Try: Add: "No waste percentages."
- Off-message lines. The AI writes generic meal-planning taglines. Try: Add: "Each is about using what's already in your fridge."
- Getting a long list. The AI writes 10 options with bold groups. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Says how many
- Sets a length
- Rules out buzzwords
- Rules out the stat
- Asks for only the list
