Write pin titles that hit the keyword and skip the discontinued item
Practice: Setting limits and rules. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You run Sill & Sprout, a shop selling indoor herb garden kits, and need titles for 5 new pins. Write exactly 5 numbered pin titles, each under 11 words, each including the phrase "small space herb garden" word for word. Don't mention the hanging planter (discontinued), skip the word "easy", and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not giving the keyword rule. The AI rephrases the keyword ("herb garden for small spaces"), so search misses it. Try: Add: "Include small space herb garden word for word in each."
- Featuring the dead product. The macrame planter gets saves, so the AI includes it. Try: Add: "Don't mention the hanging planter; it's discontinued."
- Promising easy. "Easy" is the AI's favorite word for beginner projects. Try: Add: "Never say easy or foolproof."
- Getting a long, styled list. The AI writes 10+ titles with bold categories and descriptions. Try: Add: "Exactly 5 numbered titles, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes

- Uses the exact keyword
- Skips the discontinued item
