About this exercise
Write a quarter-end checklist of exactly 5 lines starting with "- [ ]", each in the form "Mon Dec 14: task (owner)" with the weekday and the calculated date. Calculate each date as calendar days before the quarter end of Thu Dec 31 2026, from the notes. Order the lines by date, earliest first. Owners are only the roles named in the notes. Plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Counting business days. The AI skips weekends. Try: Add: "Use calendar days."
- Using the old 5-day rule. The AI sets Deal Desk to Dec 26. Try: Add: "Use the current rules; the 2025 rule is retired."
- Missing weekdays or dates. The AI writes 'Dec 17' without the weekday. Try: Add: "Format: Thu Dec 17: task (owner)."
- Extra lines. The AI adds more tasks. Try: Add: "Exactly 5 lines starting - [ ]."
