About this exercise
Write a Slack alert for managers in plain text, no emoji, under 80 words. Start with "Deals past stage limit:" then one line per over-limit deal in the form "Deal - Stage - N days (limit L) - over by D", sorted by days over (most first). Calculate days in stage from the entered date to today, Nov 6 2026. List only deals over their limit. End with the line "Update next steps by Wed Nov 11."
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing deals within limit. The AI lists all five deals. Try: Add: "List only deals over their limit."
- Wrong limit applied. The AI uses one limit for all stages. Try: Add: "Use each stage's own limit."
- Wrong order. The AI lists in CRM order. Try: Add: "Sort by days over, most first."
