About this exercise
A buyer asks what a competitor charges. Reply in plain text under 70 words, starting "Hi Elias,". Say you can't speak to another company's pricing, give our verified price with the math, and offer to compare on the buyer's own written quote. Do not guess or estimate the competitor's price, criticize them, or say "I heard". Sign off "Nina". Put the line "Bring your written quote and I'll compare line by line." right before the sign-off.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Repeating hearsay. The AI says 'I heard they charge $35'. Try: Add: "Don't guess or share unverified competitor pricing."
- Criticizing the competitor. The AI says their website hides prices. Try: Add: "Don't criticize."
- Math missing. The AI states $2,520 only. Try: Add: "Show 5 x $42 x 12."
- Long reply. The AI writes a long email. Try: Add: "Plain text under 70 words."
