About this exercise
Write a short invitation to a customer dinner. Plain text, subject line first, then exactly 3 lines: line 1 gives the event details (date, time, place), line 2 says what it is (and that there is no sales presentation), line 3 asks for a reply by Nov 20 and says it is fine to decline. Under 60 words after the subject. Start line 1 with "Hi Marta,".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Tying it to the business. The AI mentions the renewal. Try: Add: "No mention of renewals, contracts, cost or gifts."
- Missing 'no sales presentation'. The AI promises a product update. Try: Add: "Say there is no sales presentation."
- No easy decline. The AI pressures the guest. Try: Add: "Say it's fine to decline."
- Wrong shape or length. The AI writes a long invitation. Try: Add: "Subject plus exactly 3 lines, under 60 words."
