About this exercise
Write an email asking your champion Lina to introduce you to the head of Finance. Plain text under 110 words, subject line first, starting "Hi Lina,". Cite one usage number from the account data, say why Finance might care using only the notes, include a 2-line blurb Lina can forward (starting with "Forwardable:"), and make it easy to decline. Don't mention price or discounts.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Mentioning commercial terms. The AI brings up the renewal or a discount. Try: Add: "Don't mention price, discounts or the renewal."
- No forwardable blurb. The AI asks for an intro with no blurb. Try: Add: "Include a Forwardable: blurb of 2 sentences."
- Hard to refuse. The AI pressures her. Try: Add: "Make it easy to decline."
- Long email. The AI writes a long email. Try: Add: "Plain text under 90 words."
