- For Small business owners
- You practice Giving the right context
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a callback script a service owner will say when a homeowner returns a voicemail. Plain text, exactly 3 lines starting Open:, Ask:, Close:. Under 75 words. Ask is two questions at most, only about the job details needed for an estimate (from the notes). Close offers the two appointment windows in the notes. Don't quote a price or say "free".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Quoting prices or saying free. The AI says 'free estimate'. Try: Add: "No prices; don't say free."
- Too many questions. The AI asks five questions. Try: Add: "At most two questions, only the ones in the notes."
- Promising repair. The AI says 'we'll fix it this week'. Try: Add: "Don't promise a repair date."
- Wrong shape. The AI writes a long monologue. Try: Add: "Three labeled lines under 60 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Lists the three labels
- Limits questions
- Offers both windows
- Bans price and free
- Limits length
