About this exercise
Write a LinkedIn message to a mutual contact asking for an introduction. Plain text, exactly 3 sentences, under 55 words, starting "Hi Sofia,". Sentence 1 states who you'd like to meet and why in one clause; sentence 2 offers a 2-line forwardable blurb starting with the word "Blurb:" (the blurb counts as part of the same sentence); sentence 3 says it's fine to say no. Don't pitch the product.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Pitching the product. The AI describes Slotwise features. Try: Add: "No pitch, features or pricing."
- No forwardable blurb. The AI asks for an intro with no blurb. Try: Add: "Include a Blurb: for her to forward."
- No easy exit. The AI doesn't allow a no. Try: Add: "Sentence 3 says it's fine to say no."
- Too long. The AI writes a paragraph. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 sentences, plain text, under 55 words."
