- You practice Giving the right context
- Time about 5 minutes

About this exercise
Write a first email to the buyer's procurement manager. Line 1 must be exactly "Subject: Vendor documents for Brightline Foods". Start the body with "Hi Dara,". Plain text under 90 words. List exactly 4 documents as dash bullets (only ones the notes say we can provide today), ask what else procurement needs, and don't mention price or discounts. Sign off "Nikhil".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing unavailable documents. The AI lists SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001. Try: Add: "Only documents available today."
- Mentioning price. The AI adds the quote. Try: Add: "No price or discounts."
- Wrong subject or bullet count. The AI invents a subject and lists six items. Try: Add: "Exact subject; exactly 4 bullets."
- Long email. The AI writes a long email. Try: Add: "Plain text under 90 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets subject and opener
- Fixes four bullets
- Restricts to available documents
- Asks what else
- Bans price talk
