- For Sales and customer success
- You practice Giving the right context
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a follow-up email after a listing presentation. Plain text under 100 words, subject line first, starting "Hi Marcus and Dena,". Give exactly 3 next steps as dash bullets with a date each, use the corrected listing-photo date, and don't state or promise a sale price, a number of days on market, or a sale outcome.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old photo date. The AI writes Nov 13. Try: Add: "Use the corrected photographer date."
- Predicting price or days. The AI says 'we expect to sell in 30 days'. Try: Add: "Don't state or predict price, days on market or outcome."
- Extra bullets. The AI adds the list date and more. Try: Add: "Exactly three dash bullets."
- Long email. The AI adds paragraphs. Try: Add: "Plain text under 100 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the opener
- Fixes three bullets with dates
