About this exercise
Write a re-engagement email to Arlo Finch, plain text under 85 words, subject line first. Use exactly one new reason to talk from the notes (not a discount), mention the earlier proposal in one clause, and ask one easy question that can be answered with a single word. Don't write "checking in", "touching base", "circling back" or imply he owes a reply.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Offering a discount. The AI adds a limited-time offer. Try: Add: "No discount; give exactly one new reason."
- Stock phrases. The AI opens with 'Just checking in'. Try: Add: "Avoid checking in, touching base and circling back."
- Guilt or speculation. The AI says 'I know you've been busy'. Try: Add: "Don't imply he owes a reply or guess why he's quiet."
- Long email. The AI lists several updates. Try: Add: "Plain text under 85 words, subject first."
