About this exercise
A client asked for an extra feature not in the agreed scope. Reply in plain text under 100 words, starting "Hi Dmitri,". Say yes in the first sentence, then explain it is outside the agreed scope, give the price as hours times rate in one line, say the delivery date moves by the stated days, and ask him to reply "Approved" to proceed. Do not do the work before approval and don't apologize.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Doing it for free. The AI agrees without pricing it. Try: Add: "Give the price as hours times rate."
- Forgetting the date change. The AI leaves out the new date. Try: Add: "State the new delivery date."
- Apologizing. The AI says 'sorry for the extra cost'. Try: Add: "Do not apologize."
- Long email. The AI writes a long formatted email. Try: Add: "Plain text under 100 words, starting Hi Dmitri,."
