Plan how your club secures its shared social account
- For College students
- You practice Giving the right context
- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
Your club's 6 officers share one password for the club's social media account. Write the plan from the campus student orgs guide: exactly 4 numbered steps, each naming the officer role who does it and a date before the Dec 1 officer handover. Use only the guide's tools. Plain text, under 110 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- No owner or date. The AI says 'the club should' without saying who or by when. Try: Ask: "Each step names the officer role and a date before Dec 1."
- Outside tools. The AI recommends a paid password manager instead of the free campus one. Try: Say: "Use only the campus guide's tools."
- Repeating the password. The AI quotes the old password in the plan, which is now another place it lives. Try: Add: "Don't repeat the password."
- Too many steps. The AI writes 8 steps plus tips. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 4 numbered steps."
- Letting markdown in. AI adds bold and headings by default, and in the officer doc they show up as stray symbols. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
What a strong prompt includes

- Uses only the guide
