Report phishing simulation results with the math shown
- For IT and security teams
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
Summarize last month's phishing awareness simulation for the CISO. Write exactly 4 numbered lines: overall click rate with the math, the department(s) over the 10% target with their math, the report rate with the math, and 'Next:' with one action from the notes. Plain text, under 80 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Numbers without working. The AI gives percentages the CISO can't check. Try: Ask: "Show the math, like 20 of 200 = 10%."
- Fuzzy target check. The AI lists Support as 'at risk' even though 10% isn't over. Try: Say: "List only departments over 10%."
- Several next steps. The AI lists every idea, plus naming clickers. Try: Add: "One action from the notes. No names."
- A long report. The AI adds tables and commentary. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 4 numbered lines."
- Letting markdown in. AI adds bold and headings by default, and in an email they show up as stray symbols. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
What a strong prompt includes
- Asks for the math
- Uses the target
- Ends with one action
- Says exactly how many
- Asks for plain text
