About this exercise
Five students were absent for Friday's quiz, so only 25 of your 30 students took it. Write exactly 6 numbered lines: one per question showing correct / 25 = percent, then a last line starting Reteach: naming every question under 50%. Plain text, under 90 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the class size. The AI divides by 30 because that number is at the top of the sheet. Try: Add: "Only 25 students took it. Divide by 25."
- Percents without the math. The AI lists percents your department head can't check. Try: Show it: "1. Q1: 23 / 25 = 92%".
- No clear cutoff. The AI suggests reteaching "the hardest topics" by its own judgment. Try: Add: "Reteach: every question under 50%."
- Long or formatted output. AI adds teaching tips and bold headings. Try: Add: "Only the 6 lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
