Write matching illustrations for 4 vocabulary cards
- For Teachers
- You practice Showing an example of what you want
- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
You teach English to newcomers and want pictures for 4 vocabulary cards, made with ChatGPT images. Get Claude to write exactly 4 numbered prompts, plain text, under 200 words in total, one per word in the order on your list. Each prompt repeats the same style line word for word, says square 1:1 on a plain white background, and says no text, letters or labels in the image (you print the word under it).
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using last week's words. The notes mention spatula and toaster, and the AI may include them. Try: Add: "In order: whisk, colander, ladle, cutting board."
- Mismatched styles. The AI varies the style, so the cards look like they came from different places. Try: Add: "Repeat the same style line word for word in all 4."
- Labels in the image. Image tools add the word, often misspelled, which confuses new readers. Try: Add: "No text, letters or labels."
- Adding a character. The AI follows the cartoon chef idea, which clutters the card and borrows a famous character. Try: Add: "One object only, no characters."
- Headings and notes. The AI adds bold titles per card. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered prompts, plain text."
