Fill an internal transfer recommendation with evidence

About this exercise
Your direct report is applying to transfer to the Data team, and you need to complete the manager recommendation box in under 80 words. Give two specific examples of her data work with numbers, state your support level using one of the form's three options word for word, and give the transition date you agreed. Plain text. Write a prompt that gets that recommendation.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for "under 80 words" and it often lands well over. Try: Cap each part: "4 sentences, each under 18 words."
- Not using the form's wording. The AI writes "I fully endorse" instead of one of the three options. Try: Say it: "Start with: Strongly support."
- Praise without evidence. The AI says "she's great with data" without what she found. Try: Add: "Use the 38% supplier finding (22% fewer refund tickets) and the Monday dashboard."
- Wrong date or a side comment. The AI may copy Jan 5 from her application or mention the meeting comment. Try: Add: "Transition date Jan 12. Nothing about meetings. Plain text."
