About this exercise
You're reviewing the October check register for gaps. Write a prompt for plain text with exactly four lines starting "Gaps:", "Explained:", "Unexplained:" and "Next step:". Gaps lists every missing check number in the range. Explained uses the void log and says where the support is. Next step names who to ask, with no guess about what happened to an unexplained check. Under 60 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Missing the second gap. The AI finds 5004 only. Try: Say: "List every missing number in the range 5001 to 5012."
- Guessing about 5009. The AI says the check was probably lost or stolen. Try: Add: "Do not guess what happened to an unexplained check."
- Extra commentary. The AI adds headings and explanations. Try: Add: "Exactly four lines, plain text."
