About this exercise
Write the top-3 requests for the product manager, Lucia. Exactly three numbered lines, most requested first, formatted like "1. Request: N accounts (Name, Name)". Count distinct accounts, not mentions. Then one last line starting "Caution:" saying not to promise dates. Plain text, under 70 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Counting mentions. Acme appears twice, so the AI reports 5 for SSO. Try: Say: "Count distinct accounts, not notes."
- Wrong ranking. The AI includes one-off requests or mis-ranks the ties. Try: Say: "Top 3 by distinct accounts."
- Repeating the sales promise. The AI echoes Q1 for SSO. Try: Add: "Caution line: no dates promised; SSO is planned, no date."
- Leaving the list shape open. The AI picks its own number of items and its own layout. Try: Show the shape: "exactly N numbered lines like: 1. Label: detail".
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
