Compare influencers on cost per tracked link click
Practice: Giving the right context. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're deciding which influencer to rebook. Your team only counts clicks on each creator's tracked link, not profile visits. Write exactly 3 numbered lines, each as Name: $fee ÷ link clicks = $X per click, then one unnumbered last line: Rebook: [name]. Plain text, under 60 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not defining the metric. The AI takes the agency's profile-visit math and picks the wrong creator. Try: Add: "Cost per click = fee ÷ tracked link clicks only."
- Not asking to see the work. Bare costs hide which column was used. Try: Add a line to copy: "1. @trailmixtara: $1,500 ÷ 600 = $2.50 per click"
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each line: "each line under 12 words."
- Forgetting where it goes. AI loves markdown tables and bold, which show up as clutter in a campaign Slack thread. Try: Add: "Plain text, no bold, headings or tables."
What a strong prompt includes
