About this exercise
Your CEO, Gail, wants to hand this customer complaint to Marco Diaz, VP Customer Success. Draft the Slack message she would send him. Start with exactly "[Draft for Gail to approve]", tag @marco, give a deadline of Friday Nov 21 for a reply to the customer, and keep it under 70 words in plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- No approval marker. The AI writes it as if it will be sent as-is. Try: Say: "Start with exactly [Draft for Gail to approve]."
- No owner or deadline. The AI forwards the complaint with "can you look at this?" Try: Add: "Tag @marco and ask for a reply to the customer by Friday Nov 21."
- Dropping the facts. The AI says "a customer is unhappy" without the numbers. Try: Add: "Include 5 of 14 clinics live at day 42."
- Too long for Slack. The AI writes an email-length message with bold. Try: Say: "Under 60 words, plain text, Slack style."
