About this exercise
Compile the directors' feedback on the board pack into a markdown table with columns Director, Request, Owner, Due. One row per distinct request (merge duplicates, list both directors in the Director cell). Use the corrected due dates, write "owner needed" if no owner is named, and leave out comments that are not requests. Output only the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Duplicate rows. The AI lists each director's email as a row. Try: Say: "Merge duplicate requests and list both directors."
- Old due date. The AI uses Dec 10. Try: Say: "Use the correction: Dec 6."
- Inventing owners. The AI assigns the hiring plan to People. Try: Say: "Write 'owner needed' if none is named."
- Including non-requests. The AI adds the photo comment. Try: Say: "Only requests."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each cell: "each cell under 10 words."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 12 words."
