About this exercise
You're mapping stakeholders for a client's ERP rollout. Put each of the 6 people in a table with columns Name, Quadrant, Evidence. Quadrant must be exactly one of Manage closely, Keep satisfied, Keep informed, Monitor. Evidence is a reason from the notes in under 10 words, and anything secondhand must say (secondhand). Use each person's current title. Output only the table, under 150 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not naming the quadrants. The AI invents categories like "Champion" or "Influencer". Try: Say: "Quadrant is exactly one of Manage closely, Keep satisfied, Keep informed, Monitor."
- Using outdated titles. The notes mention an old title first, and the AI copies it. Try: Add: "Use each person's current title."
- Treating gossip as evidence. Dmitri's coffee comment gets reported as Gareth's view. Try: Add: "Mark anything secondhand as (secondhand)."
- Trusting the AI to count words. A table with long evidence cells runs well past the limit. Try: Cap cells: "Evidence under 10 words per row. Output only the table."
What a strong prompt includes
